Events and Calendar for Labor Day Weekend 2020 For Labor Day weekend, which kicks off with a Friday Happy Hour, scheduled events are planned for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Children and adult events will start after 12:00 pm each day. Pre-registration for the Pickleball and Cornhole tournaments is encouraged but we will do the best we can to accommodate anyone who decides to participate on the day of the event. Saturday, September 5th (events starting after 12pm) Parent/Child relay race at 1:30 pm Children’s Pickleball Tournament at 2:30 pm Children’s relay race at 4:30 pm Sale of raffle tickets* for CSTC related prizes including a grand prize of one-year free membership. (all day) Pig roast sponsored by Chris and Beth Folvik (bring your own side dishes, condiments, etc.) (approximately 5pm) Sunday, September 6th Open Board/Membership Meeting at 12:00 pm Children’s Water Balloon Toss at 1:30 pm Coed Pickleball Tournament at 2:30 (Signup here for the CSTC Coed Pickleball Tournament) Sale of raffle tickets* for CSTC related prizes including a grand prize of one-year free membership. (all day) Monday, September 7th Children’s Greased Watermelon Contest at 2:00 pm Kid’s Cornhole Tournament at 2:30pm Adult Cannonball Contest at 3pm Children’s Cannonball Contest at 3:30 pm Adult Cornhole Tournament at 4:30 (Signup here for the CSTC Cornhole Tournament) Sale of raffle tickets* for CSTC related prizes including a grand prize of one-year free membership. (all day) *The Board will also host a raffle beginning Labor Day weekend to raise money for the CSTC “Beautification Fund” which is an umbrella term meant to describe expenses related to keeping the facility operating safely and maintaining and enhancing our grounds and related equipment. All prizes will be CSTC related and will include a grand prize of free membership for 2021. Winners will be drawn at the pool the last weekend we are open. Winners do not have to be preset to win. CSTC’s Open House weekend is September 12th and 13th. Get the word out to prospective new members to hang out at the pool that weekend. More details to follow. Lastly, members will also be able to order CSTC branded clothing (sweatshirts, t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, flannel bottoms and sweatpants, baseball caps and embroidered towels.
